Seth Haley’s Com Truise happened to be making a stop in Los Angeles for his tour and luckily for ye faithful audience, it was also his birthday. So February ended with a synth-electro-funk celebration of life at The Echoplex for this sold out show. I got in time to check out Portland’s Reva Devitto and her neo soul sort of feel. Later came Phantoms, hipnotizing with their show of lights coming from under their toys (mixers, et all). And then came Seth, with elegance and delicacy blended with heavy beats. I’ll leave you with photos now… for even more, check FARAHSTOP the music photography archive.
Highlight: My friend Righteous Trash was djing in between these music makers!!! And I got no photo of this 😦 … but he was awesome, my favorite part of the night.
