DUB CLUB meets Blue Beat Lounge, 04’30’14

Dub Club was one of the first parties I ever hit when moving to SoCal.  Back then Dub Club happened at The Echo, before the Echoplex extension happened.  The night has grown so much that each now and then both spaces are used to feature special nights such as Dub Club meets Blue Beat Lounge.  This night hosted bands with heavy ska and rock steady And even cumbia-dub. East LA’s Pachamama Estela had this dubby flavor while Quinto Sol was holding it down with reggae-dub.  The Delirians very short appearance left the crowd wanting more ska and The Steady 45s where there to quench that thirst.  Overall, it was a sweet irie 2 floor night at Dub Club and stay tuned because there are heavy nights like this coming up.  For the entire photos of the night please visit FARAHSTOP, the music photography archive.
